The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are the yummiest chocolate chip cookies. Ever. You are going to love them!
Do you love the smell of fresh baked cookies? I LOVE the smell of cookies that just came out of the oven.
The smell of fressh baked cookies reminds me of home.
I grew up in a family that made chocolate chip cookies often. Often, my mom would make cookies to give to neighbors in need. We would help her in the kitchen by measuring ingredients, mixing the dough, and rolling the dough into balls to bake the cookies. (And, of course, tasting the dough.)
Sometimes my older sisters and I would make them for the teenage boys we liked. With 5 girls in the house, it seemed like we were making cookies all the time.
Now, I make cookies at my home with my kids.
These cookies are awesome, especially since you can make them in under 30 minutes!
Here are some tips:
Try not to overbake them, and they will come out really soft.
These are perfect when paired with a cold glass of milk!
You might wonder why a mom with a food addiction has a recipe for chocolate chip cookies on her website. Well, I love baking. Even with my addiction, I still love the smell of cookies in the oven. I have come to realize that I can enjoy the smell without tasting the dough or the cookies. Like I said earlier, I love the smell of cookies!
Because of my addiction, I don’t make these very often. Sometimes, I will make them for my family. I also enjoy giving them away to neighbors or to my friends.
PLUS, every mama needs a good chocolate chip cookie recipe. Right?
I hope you enjoy making these at your house! If you do make them, I'd love to hear about it in the comments.
